"Prep" your Sketchbook

Got an Art Block? Or just have a bit of trouble facing a blank page?

"Prep" your Sketchbook! You can go through a new sketchbook and add borders, quick corner doodles, and even a watercolor wash to random pages. Later, when you get back to those pages, what ever you put there ahead of time might inspire you.

A border of rainclouds and lightning? Maybe a drawing of a frog in a puddle, or a still life of flowers covered in rain drops.

Maybe a doodle in the corner would spark a page full of intricate pattern?

The watercolor wash could start off a landscape or a full watercolor sketch.

You know, you don't even have to do it yourself. Ask a friend to do the borders and doodles and return the book when they finish. Or even do a trade like that. You and one or more friends or classmates can swap "prepped" Sketchbooks. Have fun with it.
