Make CG textures at home

Do you have a camera or scanner at home? You can make your own textures for your
digital artwork. Look around your house or workspace. How many interesting
textures can you find?

Wood, Paper, concrete, the dirt or grass in the yard. Even the paint spatters on
your floor from the last time your kid used the finger paints. You can use your
camera or scanner to capture all these texture you have lying around your home
for use in your art.

Here where I live, is crazy full of textures. The concrete floors were hand
poured and imperfectly finished, paint spatters here & there from painting the
walls and doors. Heck, the doors have great textures, the way they've been
painted over several times. I'll have to see about zipping some up to share with
everyone if I can find some place to upload it to.
